BOLDARE
Purpose: At Boldare, we go beyond just discussing great products - we create them with our clients. Explore our case studies to see how we've helped launch outstanding AI-powered solutions on the market, all while upholding our high quality service standards.
Boldare - digital product creators & consultants
We build digital products at every stage of development — from MVPs and product-market fit to scaling platforms and entering new markets. We also tackle complex engineering challenges, including system migrations, legacy modernization, architectural optimization, and large-scale integrations.
AI boosts our speed by 20–40%, enhancing quality, testing, and delivery visibility — without compromising craftsmanship. We use AI tools daily to move faster while maintaining full ownership and engineering excellence. Design is a core part of our process. Designers collaborate closely with developers to create usable, elegant products — and when design is already solved, we work directly with your design system for speed and consistency.
Founded in 2004, we've been delivering digital products through every market shift. While trusted by global brands like BlaBlaCar, Bosch, and Decathlon, we focus especially on helping mid-sized companies, such as Sonnen, Prisma, and e.l.f. Cosmetics - scale smarter, modernize tech, and grow with confidence.
Why We Started With Holacracy
We adopted Holacracy because, while our teams were already working in an agile, transparent, and self-organizing way, we lacked a unified, company-wide operating system. We wanted a framework that could support distributed decision-making, bring clarity through structured roles, and scale with our rapid growth and complexity. Holacracy offered the completeness and discipline we needed to turn our culture of autonomy into a system of shared leadership.
Our Biggest Win
One of our greatest successes with Holacracy has been the shift from self-organization to true self-management. Teams across all departments — from marketing to HR — now operate with greater autonomy and alignment. Decision-making is faster, innovation has accelerated, and employees feel more empowered to take ownership of their roles. This transformation has also made us more responsive to clients, improving adaptability and speed.
Our Biggest Challenge
The biggest challenge was navigating the cultural shift — particularly the emotional and behavioral change required of people used to traditional structures. The transition increased workload temporarily and led to a noticeable rise in employee turnover (20–30% within the first year), as not everyone felt comfortable in a system where feedback is constant and authority is decentralized. It required resilience, support structures, and ongoing learning to manage that change.
How they practice Holacracy
