Case Study: Holacracy at Emesa

This case-study comes thanks to the efforts of Realize!, a transformational consulting company based in Amsterdam. After adopting Holacracy as its own operating system, Realize! became one of the first Holacracy-licensed consulting firms in the world, offering Holacracy-powered services in addition to the other next-generation techniques they had built their consulting practice around.

When one of Realize!’s clients faced significant challenges from managing rapid growth, Realize! offered them Holacracy as a method of structuring and evolving the organization dynamically, without losing the agility and responsiveness of their entrepreneurial roots. The client’s founder/CEO agreed, and Emesa – the largest online publisher of travel offers in the Netherlands – began upgrading its core structure and practices to create “Emesa 2.0”.
